How the pricing works
- Scan: point your camera at a card. TCGFly reads the printed collector code and artwork to identify the exact card and printing — normal, reverse holo, alternate art and other variants are tracked separately, since they rarely share a price.
- Price: the app pulls the card's live Cardmarket data — trend price, 30-day average and current low — so you can see whether a listing is a fair deal or an outlier.
- Sell or trade: alongside the market price, TCGFly shows what a vendor would realistically pay in cash or offer in trade, which is the number that actually matters when you're standing at a table deciding whether to sell.
More than a scanner
Scanning is the fastest way in, but it isn't the only way to use TCGFly, and it isn't just a one-card-at-a-time tool.
